Posting Summary:

Working under the direction of the Director, Organizational Effectiveness and the Organizational Effectiveness Consultant, the student will provide support to the overall OE program including work related to the hospital’s recognition program, the management of a new learning management system, long-term service awards, the summer high school co-op program, providing data analysis on projects related to the organization’s Wildly Important Goals and other tasks as assigned.

This opportunity will provide great exposure to and hands-on experience in Organizational Effectiveness as well as work with a dynamic and engaged team. Please note this is an unpaid internship.


  • Currently enrolled in a Human Resources degree program.
  • Experience providing administrative and project support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated research skills.
  • Computer proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced  level.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interest in Organizational Effectiveness.
  • Proven attendance record.
  • Demonstrates understanding of contribution to patient and staff safety.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
  • Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Mackenzie Health’s Commitment to  Caring.
