Patient Care Services - Mental Health - Children - ADHD Clinic


Mackenzie Health's ADHD Clinic is a specialized program of Child and Family Services. The clinic is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in psychology, social work, nursing and psychiatry.


The ADHD Clinic provides assessment and medication stabilization services to children and adolescents who are demonstrating ADHD symptoms. This includes symptoms which significantly interfere with individual development and family, school or community functioning.


The ADHD Clinic provides the following services; a comprehensive ADHD assessment, psychiatric consultation for patients meeting the early screening criteria, short-term medication monitoring and stabilization, resource information and referral to appropriate follow-up services as well as a parent education group on ADHD. 


Health Insurance:  All services are fully paid under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) for those with OHIP coverage.


The ADHD Clinic accepts patients referred by a physician only.

The ADHD Clinic accepts patients referred by a physician only. Patients must live within the hospital service area or the referring physician must be affiliated with Mackenzie Health. Please call the above number to refer your patient.
