Volunteers - Adult Volunteer Program


How to Become an Adult Volunteer: 



The process to be considered for an Adult Volunteer placement is:


Complete the VOLUNTEER APPLICATION  and prepare a current resume.

After your application has been reviewed, you may be contacted to arrange an interview. At the interview we will determine if there is a position available that benefits both you and the hospital. Please note that we receive applications in excess of the placements we have available. Therefore, only those applicants selected for an interview will be contacted. We will keep your application on file for 6 months.

Only selected applicants will be called to arrange an interview. Please ensure the phone number that you provide is one in which we can easily contact you. If you are contacted for an interview, you MUST be prepared to bring two completed REFERENCE FORMS.

Once accepted into the program, successful candidates must provide a clear Health Screening through your family doctor and a clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (if you haven’t already provided it during the initial application process). 

Successful candidates must provide a $30 refundable deposit for a uniform, photo ID badge and parking pass.
