Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, we have a route for you! Choose from 40KM, 70KM, or 100KM and enjoy the stunning landscapes of York Region. This exclusive event is more than just a bike ride; it commemorates the impact we’ve made on health care in our community over the last nine years, and the exciting milestones ahead.
Mackenzie Health now stands as a two-hospital model — to better serve our community. But with a rapidly growing population, patient volumes exceeding projections, and the reality of government funding only covering a portion of health care costs, there’s an urgent need for change. Jax was on day four of a fever that would not break. Her cough was getting worse, and her energy level had gone down dramatically. She slept all the time. She wasn’t interested in watching TV or playing games on her tablet. She had not eaten in days and drank very little.
The start of summer has brought special milestones — some of which we’ve already celebrated, and others upcoming! We have new board leadership, a new chapter, and exciting events on the horizon, just to name a few.
