Description

Ethical issues are an inherent part of delivering health care to our community. Mackenzie Health's Ethics Framework is a decision-making tool that is available to support people in thinking through an ethical issue to arrive at a resolution. The purpose of the Ethics Learning Moments is to give staff members and physicians an opportunity to engage in dialogue about ethical issues and cases with a particular emphasis on learning how to apply the Ethics Framework. These sessions will be informal and interactive.

Learning Objectives

  • To engage in dialogue about ethical issues and cases
  • To learn how to use the Ethics Framework to work through ethical issues and cases

Facilitator: Jonathan Breslin, Ethicist, Professional Practice and Education, Mackenzie Health

Target Audience: Mackenzie Health staff, physicians, volunteers, third party staff

Duration: 30 minutes

Note: MS Teams link will be shared via Outlook to Mackenzie Health staff 1 week before the event.
