Strategic Plan

Mackenzie Health’s three-year strategic plan – Trusted team. Compassionate care. – is our pledge to each other and to our communities to provide highly reliable, safe care to every patient who comes to Mackenzie Health.

This plan is the next step of the journey that builds on our past plan to become a two-hospital model with the opening of Canada’s first smart hospital, the first net new hospital in more than 30 years to be built and opened in Ontario and Vaughan’s first community hospital – Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital.

Trusted team. Compassionate care. is the culmination of much feedback – delivered by many voices. Throughout the strategic planning process themes emerged that framed our four priority areas – Patient Care Excellence, People are our Strength, Growing with our Communities and Integrated Care.  

With support from the community, and commitment and dedication of our staff, physicians and volunteers including our donor community, we know we will successfully achieve our priorities and deliver on our strategic plan.
